i've noticed that after cancelling a print it doesn't clean the nozzle. that's actually quite disastrous and leading to failing the following print without manually cleaning all the material off the nozzle. if it could do a wipe on it's way back home after unloading it would be wonderful and save a huge mess for me.

We will look into adding this.

noticing sometimes a cancelled print won't home Z axis and sometimes it will. it's causing some crashes on the following print which may or may not home Z along with other axes

This can cause issues, and we are looking into solutions. For now, make sure that the z-axis is fully homed before starting a print. You can do this by pressing the z home button located in the control tab of the display.

i've been working on developing some macros for my duet based mk3 and i found this wonderful guide that gives good advice on setting the trigger height of the machine. it also describes some macros you could use to slowly move down the head, record the position, and put that into config_override. i figured this might help with making a macro to get it level rather than trying to remember whether a larger number raises or lowers the nozzle.

Yes, we have thoroughly read all the Duet provided documentation, but thank you for pointing it out.
